3 Cricut Projects You Can Make With The Cricut Joy

3 projects you can quickly make using Cricut’s newest craft machine, the Cricut Joy.

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love crafting. And I love using my Cricut Explore Air® 2 and Cricut Maker to create all sorts of things from home decor projects like Removable Stair Riser Decals to practical PPE like this adult DIY Face Shield. I was super excited when I heard about Cricut’s latest cutting device. I jumped at the opportunity to test it out to see what cool projects I could create.

What is Cricut Joy?

I know you’re probably asking what is a Cricut Joy. Well, it’s just like its name implies. Hahaha. It’s a little bundle of joy craft machine that cuts and writes. It’s the perfect complement to your array of Cricut products. If you’ve been thinking about getting a Cricut, but don’t have space for a huge craft area, this is the perfect tool. It’s a small compact smart cutting device. You can take it on the go and set up in minutes.

Features of the Cricut Joy

OK so before we jump into things you can make with the Cricut Joy, let me tell you a little about its features.

My absolute favorite feature about the Cricut Joy is that its small and compact and mats are optional. Yep, that’s right people. You don’t need a mat to use the Cricut Joy.

3 Projects You Can Make

Coasters

Who doesn’t need coasters? Coasters are great to project your furniture and are great gifts to give friends and family. Using the traditional method you can use the mat and use any traditional Cricut materials like the Invisible Ink transfer sheets. Simply cut the size of the transfer sheet needed and and apply to the mat.

Load the mat into the Joy and let it do its magic. Weed and apply heat to infuse your design using a Cricut blank like these coasters with the Cricut EasyPress.

To Do List Dry Erase Board

Stay on track with with a To do List Dry Erase board. I’m constantly making to do lists on sticky notes that I loose. This is a great reusable solution. And its super cute!

Using Cricut Smart Vinyl, you simply load it into the Cricut joy, no mat required and it cuts out the shapes and designs. Just make sure the Smart Vinyl is at least 4 inches long to feed through the machine without a mat. The Cricut Joy can cut up to 20 feet. Yep, that was no typo. This baby cuts.

So load the Smart Vinyl to your machine and just like that #WeeklyGoals are on display. You can get creative and mix multiple colors to give it personality.

Labels

You can easily make labels. With the Cricut Joy, quickly and easily personalize anything with one cut and one color, in 15 minutes or less.

Create cute personalized labels in a few minutes.

This Cricut Joy project is super easy and quick. I found myself putting labels on everything. I loved that I didn’t need to adhere the labels to a mat. The smart label sheet loads automatically to the Cricut Joy.

Overall

I absolutely love the new Cricut Joy. I personally love the fact that can store it on the shelf in my craft room and I can take it from room to room throughout my house. I find myself grabbing it all the time for quick little projects. And You can actually create rather large projects given the new Smart vinyl comes in extended sizes up to 20’ repeated long cuts. You don’t have to switch out mats. It’s also super lightweight and if I were traveling right now, I’d take it on vacation so I can craft while on vacation. Hahaha. This is a great starter Cricut machine, or if you don’t have a large craft area or as a companion to your array of Cricut devices. It’s a great addition.

Cricut Joy can be found in stores and online.
