Ease of Use
Setting up the Hydroshot was really simple. Once the battery was charged, I was able to put some water in a bucket. Attach the hose to the to it, running it into the bucket.
Then I attached the pressure enhancing lance and multi-spray nozzle. The lance is important when cleaning especially because it enhancing the overall water pressure from 34psi to 320psi.
The Hydroshot has a low and high setting. The low setting will extend the battery life. But I was cleaning my car and I had a good bit of gunk on it from being parked under a tree. So I kept it on high or max psi.
The flow of the water was nice. I could adjust the nozzle to achieve the perfect pressure.
I really liked the soap bottle accessory. It was like I was at a professional car wash service, except I was doing it myself. LOL
But it foamed up nicely and with the brush, I was able to wash away the gunk and dirt.
I then came back and attached the window squeegee with water sprayer to clean the windows. This was the point when my neighbor asked if he could borrow it next. LOL
All in all its cleaned the exterior of my car very well. I’m thinking I’m going to try the lawnmower next.
The Hydroshot portable power cleaner is versitle because I can use it all around the house without carrying that big heavy hose. I can’t tell you how tired I was of carrying that hose everywhere to water the flowers. So with this I just filled the bucket up and set it down in a central location.
With the 20 feet hose, I was able to water all the plants within range.
I recommend the Worx 320 PSI 20-Volt Li-Ion HydroShot 0.5 GPM Portable Power Cleaner Bundle. This cleaner for the user that needs something powerful for cleaning that isn’t easily accessible with a hose. This is great for the smaller cleaning jobs. While this is a power cleaner, it is not a pressure wash. So anyone looking to get the same results out of this might be disappointed. What I liked most about this tool is the portability. It provided enough power to clean my vehicle without causing any damage or frustration. I’m not sure if I will use it as often to water my plants because I can easily carry a watering can. But I will be using it for everyday exterior house cleanings, like my patio furniture and car.
- Use with any fresh water source, like a bucket of water
- Can use with rainwater
- Battery Life. It took a little longer than expected for the battery to charge.
- Mistaking this for a pressure wash. The power is limited so I have to keep that in mind when cleaning things outdoors.
