Today’s project is super easy, a little messy, but super easy.  By the time you’re done, you will have a great piece of abstract art to hang on our wall.

And, it won’t cost you thousands of dollars!

Choosing artwork for your home can be a really hard thing to do.  Finding something that suits your style and in the colors you want can be almost impossible!  Ask me how I know…

This project allowed me to choose the colors I wanted that would go with the rest of the decor in my home. I think they turned out pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Watch the video below to make your own.   Written instructions are right below this video.

Supplies Needed to Make Abstract Marble Wall Art using Shaving Cream

I picked up most of these items from the Dollar Store.

Let’s make some art!

  1. Fill your tray with shaving cream. Spray in a back and forth motion until it is completely covered.
  2. Add the paint colors of your choice.
  3. Use a foam brush to gently blend the paint colors together, think abstract.
  4. Press your card stock into the shaving cream, then remove from your tray.
  5. Using a squeegee to remove the excess shaving cream.  Be sure to start at one end and go all the way to the other end in one swipe.  Place the excess back in the tray.
  6. Allow to dry.
  7. Place in a frame and hang it on the wall!

How chic is that?!!  You can proudly show off your artwork and the best part is, you made it yourself!
