Announcing April’s Cent-Sational Salvage Challenge Winner!

 And the winner is………

Naomi & Sage

Plaster and Disaster

Naomi and Sage are the blogging duo behind Plaster & Disaster,
where they share their (mis)adventures as first-time homeowners in our
fixer-upper houses, without prior experience and with a hefty dose of
other responsibilities (like full-time jobs). From small crafts to major
home improvements, they chronicle their numerous and incredible
successes (while relying heavily on hyperbole), but also the inevitable
disasters that happen along the way.
Be sure to check out new posts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday,
and scroll through here for a few of their favorite projects since they
started blogging in January:
Their first project together, in which they took on a pair of dilapidated Goodwill lamps and each made them over in a different way:

Sage’s hallway and stairwell transformation, which included using fabric to add some pizzazz to her stair risers:

Naomi’s kitchen “half makeover” while she builds up to a full renovation, including using renters’ wallpaper to create a colorful (and temporary) backsplash:

And Sage’s bolder drawers project, creating a colorful coral TV stand from an old craigslist dresser:

And of course, the list
wouldn’t be complete without at least one disaster. Here’s a post in
which they both confessed to having a bunch of holes in their homes:
